This article refers to UNWASHED fabric. If you're planning to sew garments with this fabric, we recommend washing it at 60 degrees in the machine before cutting out the pattern pieces. The fabric is also available to purchase washed and pressed, i.e., pre-shrunk, under the article Shirt Linen Washed and Pressed. We sell the shirt linen in several different designs and colorways.
WHITE: woven with half-bleached linen yarn in both warp and weft BLACK: dyed black UNBLEACHED: woven with unbleached linen yarn in both warp and weft MELANGE: woven with unbleached warp and dyed weft yarn, resulting in a softly mottled color. Available in black, blue, cerise, and leaf green weft. Please note, the unbleached warp softens and lightens the weft color, so the black color appears gray-mottled in the finished fabric.
Shrinkage approximately 3-7%. Width unwashed: approximately 160 cm Width washed: approximately 150 cm Approximately 160 gr/m2
This fabric also works excellently for use as tablecloth, towel, napkins, curtains, etc.
