Visit Växbo Lin during the Weaving Fair 2025 – by bus or car

In connection with the Weaving Fair in Gävle, 25–27 September 2025, we invite you to a unique experience in the heart of Sweden’s flax and linen heritage – just 1 hour from the fair by car.

Växbo Lin will be present at the fair with our own booth and shop, but we also warmly recommend that you take the opportunity to visit our weaving mill in Växbo, just north of Bollnäs – before, during, or after the fair.

You are welcome to visit us by car and explore at your own pace, or join one of our guided day trips by bus from Gävle, for a full day of craftsmanship, history, and natural beauty shared with fellow textile enthusiasts.

Join us for a full-day guided tour of Växbo Lin

  • See the entire production process – warping, weaving, sewing, washing, and mangling

  • Enjoy coffee and cake at the mill and shop in our well-stocked factory store at special prices

  • Take a guided tour of Trolldalen – the historical heart of flax processing, with water-powered machinery

  • Enjoy lunch at Växbo Krog, where locally sourced ingredients are in focus

  • Visit a traditional Hälsingegård, one of the UNESCO-listed farmhouses of Hälsingland

  • Return to Gävle around 5 PM

Want to experience Växbo at your own pace?
We are open to visitors and welcome you by car before, during or after the fair. Come and explore our living weaving mill, shop directly in our factory store and enjoy coffee or lunch in a beautiful setting.

Växbo is located just one hour from Gävle, in the heart of the region where linen has deep roots – and where the tradition is still alive.
